Dossier perfume: When AI enhancement crosses the line

The first shot from Dossier (@dossierperfumes) got me like "This is interesting," while the other one was "Is that AI? YIKES." I don't have anything against AI, but it needs to be done tastefully and realistically. Even the first photo with the cotton flower is AI too, but it's not as in-your-face because the bottle remains the main focus and everything else is secondary.

Valentino Beauty fragrance: Layered textures with romantic Italian styling

Great lifestyle shot from Valentino Beauty (@valentino.beauty) with really delicate, romantic styling that gives me this retro Italy vibe. The important part is how all those different textures and the busy pattern in the background don't fight with the already ornate perfume bottle. They actually complement it without creating chaos. I also like the color grading.

Cartier Ballon Bleu: Playful campaign timed with Artemis II

Absolutely adorable campaign shoot from Cartier (@cartier) of the Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch. I love the idea and how it matches Artemis II. Such a great concept and clever timing with a significant event!

Byredo fragrance: Textured details and refined imperfection

Great teamwork bringing these shots to life from Byredo (@officialbyredo)! I especially love the model shots. For the product shot, I feel like the background is a bit too distracting, but the little imperfections (commercially speaking) like the turn of the bottle label and that beautifully highlighted texture of the cap keep the eye from wandering too far.

Aesop skincare: Muted tones and textural storytelling

A great set of images from Aesop (@aesop) shot by Owen Silverwood (@owensilverwoodstudio) featuring Aesop skincare products covers all the important shots: trio of masque, concentrate and refiner, a key ingredient shot, and a texture shot with a finger that has a very utilitarian feel. Everything very on brand. Great calming color grading, muting the highlights for that soft and warm nightlight feel. The rosemary and the texture shots give me the full idea of what the product is like, how it feels. Yes, I can even smell it through my screen. Can you?
